Better Angels's Emergency Assistance Fund  & Relief Navigator

Better Angels is a non profit dedicated to solving homelessness in Los Angeles.   

They've launched an Emergency Assistance Fund to provide direct financial relief to low-income individuals and families who have lost their homes.This fund delivers immediate grants to cover urgent needs such as food, clothing, transportation, and medicine, ensuring that those affected can begin to rebuild their lives without delay. In addition to their assistance fund, they host resource days and developed the LA Disaster Relief Navigator, an online tool to help Angelinos impacted by the wildfires effectively navigate resources available to them.

Seeking Justice for Victims of Preventable Wildfires

LA Fire Justice is a coalition of experienced wildfire lawyers, world-class fire origin and causation experts, insurance specialists, and community engagement leaders committed to seeking justice for residents impacted by the LA wildfires. In addition to their legal services, LA Fire Justice offers weekly meetings regarding insurance, personal property lists, business loss, trauma counseling and more.

The Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles, in partnership with FEMA and LA County, is offering legal support to low-income individuals affected by the recent Southern California wildfires.

Get help with FEMA disaster aid, tenant rights, emergency public benefits, unemployment insurance, and more.

Pro Bono Legal Assistance and Disaster Recovery Support

The State Bar of California is an administrative division of the Supreme Court of California which licenses attorneys and regulates the practice of law in California. They are offering pro bono legal support to LA wildfire victims and resources to help with securing federal aid, filing insurance claims, replacing lost legal documents, resolving landlord-tenant issues, addressing consumer protection concerns, and more.
